Boston Duo's 7 Threes Not Enough to Overcome Golden State's Offensive Onslaught

Warriors Extend NBA Finals Lead to 3-1 with Convincing Win

The Boston Celtics put up a valiant effort in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, but they were ultimately outmatched by a dominant performance from the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors extended their series lead to 3-1 with a 126-114 victory at Chase Center in San Francisco on Friday night.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led the Celtics' scoring with 27 and 23 points, respectively, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Warriors' balanced attack. Stephen Curry led all scorers with 31 points, while Klay Thompson added 25 points and Kevon Looney contributed 16 rebounds.

The Celtics made seven three-pointers in the game, but the Warriors knocked down 19 from beyond the arc. Golden State also dominated the rebounding battle, outrebounding the Celtics 51-36.

The Warriors took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Celtics 34-17. Boston was able to cut the deficit to 10 points in the fourth quarter, but the Warriors held on for the victory.

The Celtics now face an uphill battle in the series, trailing 3-1. They will need to win Game 5 at home on Monday night if they want to extend the series.
